Three types of coaching
Coaching is about discovery, awareness and choice. It helps the coachee identify and articulate what their challenges, goals and aspirations are, and it supports them in achieving these goals. A typical starting point could be to enquire about aspects in the coachee's life that aren’t working optimally. This could be in terms of a disengaged team, challenging clients, a feeling of overwhelm or a lack of personal satisfaction and achievement. The coach's role is to assist in bringing these issues to the surface so that they can be resolved once and for all.
